Four Major Works

Chris is skilled at creating depth and texture, especially in the four major pieces pictured below: Egret Landing, Conch Shell, Gardenia and The Dove. She combines geometrics with organic subjects. Her art is inspired by the Masters of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, as well as Buckminster Fuller, the architect, inventor, designer and philosopher.

These influences are combined with her love and fascination for nature. By embracing the literal and symbolic nature of her subjects, Chris appeals to a wide variety of art appreciators and collectors. Vivid colors, subtle shading, attention to detail and a playful tone can create strong emotions.
